In order to bridge the gap between the talent pool and the skills required for the available jobs, Top IT companies like Genpact, Tech Mahindra and Tata Consultancy Services have started programmes for new digital era.

Tiger Tyagarajan, President and CEO, Genpact, says, “Skills that were once seen as nice to have are now critical to succeeding in the digital economy. By opening Genome to the public, we are helping to accelerate the professional learning process for everyone.”
The IT sector added 2 lakh jobs and employees have started to embrace re-skilling efforts. By time Covid-19 situation normalises, companies are preparing for an eventual uptick in business. Most of the large IT companies says, the second half of fiscal 2020-21 will see a pick-up in growth in business.
