TSSC collabs with Huawei to open Centre of Excellence for IoT in Patna

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. and India’s leading institution for telecom skill development today officially opened a Center of Excellence at NIT Patna for capacity building in the telecom industry (MSDE). The CoE will support careers in disciplines such as information and communications technology, cyber security, electronics, and communication, as well as technical, support, and related fields.

The major guest at the inauguration was Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, a former minister of information technology who praised the work of the TSSC. The five-year agreement, known as a memorandum of understanding, aims to increase the employability of prospective students by providing them with training in cutting-edge technology. In response to industry needs, TSSC will provide training content, a network of training partners, industry connect, NOS, institutionalise the accreditation process for training providers, and assess, certify, and certify assessors, trainers, and trainees.

ASDC with Training programmes for Electric Bus Drivers

The Automotive Skill Development Council (ASDC), a government of India programme under the National Skill Development Council, has developed training modules that would upskill electric bus drivers in Calcutta (NSDC). In Pune and Indore, the ASDC already offers these programmes to e-bus drivers. When Tata Motors delivers the largest shipment of electric buses to Calcutta, the ASDC will conduct EV safety module training programmes for e-bus drivers. Arindam Lahiri, the chief executive officer of ASDC, made this statement when he introduced a programme in Calcutta to upskill independent mechanics and technicians on BS-VI engines. OEMs that charge the state transportation agencies on a per-kilometre basis run, maintain and operate electric buses.

(MP)  ITI Convocation ceremony to be held on September 20

On September 20, the qualified trainees will graduate from the Government Divisional Industrial Training Institute. This event is being held under the directives of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship of the Government of India, New Delhi, and is being overseen by the Directorate of Skill Development of Madhya Pradesh, as well as the Department of Technical Education, Skills Training, and Employment. At the Government Divisional Industrial Training Institute in Nandanagar, this ceremony will take place. The main guest of the ceremony will be MLA Ramesh Mendola. Students that participate in the programme will receive a national trade certificate and a trophy. The Chief Minister will also recognize promising trainees from the Divisional ITI Indore Profession on this occasion.
