The NEP 2020 encourages multi-disciplinary education at the undergraduate level, allowing students to take up subjects across disciplines and learn vocational skills. All institutions will have the autonomy to decide their mode, style and pattern of assessments within the broad guidelines provided.
Institutions shall be encouraged to use a variety of new and disruptive technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchains, smart boards, handheld computing devices, adaptive computer testing for student development.
