Skill development will solve unemployment: Minister

Mekapati Goutham Reddy, the Minister for Industries and Commerce said that to curb unemployment issues, the government will be setting up a skill development University in Tirupati and a high-end Skills University in Vishakhapatnam.

The minister strongly believes that imparting skill training is the only way forward, to make the students industry-ready. In addition to these two universities, there will be 25 skill development colleges across the state. The minister made this announcement in a recently attended workshop organized by the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation after launching the manual on National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme.
