Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology recently held a 5-days vocational training program on ‘Mushroom Cultivation as profitable enterprise’ at KVK Kathua under the guidance of Dr. K.S. Risam, Vice-Chancellor SKUAST-Jammu.

At the final session of the training program, Dr. Vishal Mahajan, Senior Scientist, and Head, KVK Kathua stated that for the development of the mushroom sector, there is a need for adoption of rural-based enterprises and of new mushroom units in villages.
