Today’s students, tomorrow’s job givers: Importance of entrepreneurship skills

“We must come out of the mentality of only doing a job, and utilize our skills to become an entrepreneur,” says Prasad Kokli, an entrepreneur. He was speaking about the topic ‘Skill Based Entrepreneurship: My Skills, My Business’ at a seminar organized by Marathwada Accelerator for Growth and Incubation Council (MAGIC) and GIZ at Government ITI ( for girls), Bhadkal gate.

He also emphasized instilling the spirit of entrepreneurship in girls, from a young age, as they are much more proficient in running a successful business.

Train the Trainers: How will our educators cope up with changes in the education system? 

Technology has been an integral part of bringing about drastic changes in the education system as we moved to online classes. But now, as we gear up to the ‘back to campus’ mode, nothing can be the same again. schools will definitely need to re-consider “device and data policies” to cope up with the change. 

Sindu Aven, the COO and co-founder of OrangeSlates, talks about the skills that India’s educators will now require to keep up with these changing education systems – “Collaboration, Creativity and Innovation, Adaptability, Technology, Critical Thinking, and Communication are the keys,” she says. 

Trainers too need to be trained in order to attain a healthy balance that will enable the right kind of education, that the hour demands!
