A one-of-its-kind digital summit was held with the leaders of five Central Asian states, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the host showcasing the transformational diplomacy. While on its journey to make India reach a good position on the global profile, it has also led to financial support and collaborations from foreign partners for flagship schemes like Make in India, Smart Cities, Skill India, Digital India, Start-up India, and Namami Gange. This kind of enhanced foreign engagements and collaborations with India’s external partners has allowed people to reap its benefits through tech tie-ups and foreign investments. More than 5Lac Healthcare workers to be trained by Apollo Medskills COVID response

In a mission to equip the Indian healthcare workforce for a better COVID response, Apollo Medskills is looking to train more than 5Lac frontliners, which will enhance the human resource capacity for healthcare systems that are stressed. Having already trained over 184,000 people in the past 18 months across 15 Indian states, Apollo Medskills aims to make healthcare education more practically relevant. The CEO of Apollo Medskills, Dr Srinivas Rao Pulijala, said, “This training is designed for health workers and leadership on the frontlines of the crisis to increase their capacity and to respond rapidly and efficiently to the ongoing threat of COVID19, while also protecting their own health.” The curriculum of this programme has been designed using the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare as well as open source content credible content sources like WHO and others. Tripartite MoU underway to develop gender and fitness index for youths

A two-day youth e-conclave was held by the social work department of the Rajiv Gandhi University on ‘Enhancing employability through symbiotic engagement and capacity building’ where it was decided that a tripartite MoU for developing gender and fitness index for the youths will be underway with a ‘verbal consent’ between the Rajiv Gandhi University in Arunachal Pradesh, Sri Sri Aniruddhadeva Sports University in Assam, and Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development in Tamil Nadu. The aim of the e-conclave were – to build capacity of youths with the use of specialized knowledge and skills to enhance employability; to educate about managerial, leadership, and workplace skills; sensitization to symbiotic engagement for better employability; imparting traditional knowledge skills; and to provide a platform to understand skills for self-reliance.
