We recently had the privilege to speak with Nikhil Gaikwad, Human Resources Manager – Privi Organics Limited. 

The company is into manufacturing and export of aroma chemicals. During the interview, he highlighted how rapid globalization and digitalization are taking up this industry at a fast pace just like any other industry. He further highlighted that the key drivers for this chemical industry are proximity to strong growth markets, greater ease in doing business, and continued development in the chemical industry. 

“We are keeping a tab on the anticipated growth with the help of market surveys from the likes of Aon, E&Y, and KPMG. Our talent acquisition strategy is then created depending on the market conditions.”

On answering the question of how his organization is aligned with the anticipated growth when it comes to talent, he mentioned that their organization is growing. And their long – term strategy is to nurture their employees as they strongly believe that the employees only will play a pivotal role in achieving the organizational goals. Hence, they are committed to invest and develop competent and skilled talent and bring them on-board. 

To help achieve this, they have taken some key initiatives across the organization.

Apart from NETAP, as per Apprentice Act, the organization is also registered with the apprentice board and every year they provide Graduate Engineer Trainee on the job training.
